Potato Europe 2020 was to bring together 400 exhibitors and welcome 15,000 visitors.
The uncertainties linked to the health crisis forced the French organizers of Potato Europe 2020 to cancel the event so as not to make the participants take risks. The next edition of Potato Europe is scheduled in the Netherlands in September 2021.
Potato Europe 2020, the international trade fair for the potato sector which was to be held on September 2 and 3 in Villers-Saint-Christophe (Aisne) in France, has been canceled. The next edition of Potato Europe is scheduled in the Netherlands in September 2021.
The physical distancing measures imposed and the restrictions on international travel forced the organizers to cancel the show. The measures, essential to everyone's safety, are extremely difficult to put in place for a fair of the magnitude and nature of Potato Europe.
Potato Europe was preparing dynamic demonstrations, technical workshops, conferences, and was to bring together 400 exhibitors and was preparing to welcome 15,000 visitors, one third of them international.
The Potato Europe 2020 organizing committee brought together all of the French potato industry partners (CNIPT, FEDEPOM, FN3PT, GIPT, GNIS, UNPT) and Arvalis.
The next edition of Potato Europe is scheduled in the Netherlands in September 2021.
