Peruvian banana exports in the first 3 months of 2023 declined in volume and value, compared to the same term in 2022. 

 

Between January and March 2023, the country exported 40.231.906 kilos of the fruit worth $30.520.209, informs Agrodata Perú.

 

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 51.490.085 kilos of banana for $38.724.595.

 

In the first two months of 2023, the leading destinations for said supplies were the Netherlands, the United States, Panama, Belgium, Italy, Korea, Germany, among others.
