Raspberry production will be in the average

Harsh weather conditions in May had affected some raspberry plantations in Serbia and had feared a significant decrease in production.

 

 

Currently, raspberry production is considered "pretty good." The industry expects production slightly down compared to that of last year (110 000 tonnes) but in a good average about 85 000 tonnes.

 

 

Serbia is the No. 1 worldwide in raspberry production, representing almost a quarter of total production (420 000 tonnes). Serbian raspberries export take direction mainly from Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden and Austria.
