China-Russia special train for fruits-vegetables exporting starts running

According to the latest data, “Manchzhuriya” crossing point will be the start point for a brand new train assigned for fruits-vegetables exporting from China to Russian local market. Based on the recent information, 4 carriages out of train set are able to transport approximately 200 tons of vegetables. As for trains schedule, it is expected that the whole rout will be covered within 90 hours, the final arriving point is Novosibirsk city (Russia). Moreover in the long term it is planned to arrange reefer containers for fruits and vegetables delivery to domestic market of Russia via “Manchzhuriya” crossing point.
