Ukraine produces 4 million tons of vegetables (our info of 13.11.2013) and 3 million tons of potatoes, still has a strong demand for high quality potatoes. But with the devaluation of the currency against the American dollar, the import products are more expensive.

The main import products remain potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers. The main suppliers are Egypt, Turkey and Spain.

Russia has reduced its imports of vegetables, starting to invest in vegetable greenhouses to reduce its dependence on foreign products.
