AMAZON delivery methods are scrutinized by all distribution specialists.

AMAZON, one of the pioneers of online commerce, is on the verge of modifying its FRESH and PRIME NOW food supply services according to Yahoo Finance. These 2 services, FRESH and PRIME NOW, have specific assortments and delivery methods.

FRESH was launched in 2007 and offers a large assortment of fresh food and groceries, with same-day or next-day delivery with a subscription of $ 14.99 per month.

PRIME NOW was launched in 2014 and offers a selection of products for everyday life (sodas, handkerchiefs, batteries ...) that are delivered to a warehouse downtown. Free shipping within 2 hours for PRIME subscribers or at 7.99 USD in one hour.

Analysts said that the acquisition of the supermarket chain WHOLE FOODS in June 2017 will lead to changes. In November AMAZON stopped the FRESH service in several American cities. For the next step, AMAZON should rely on the WHOLE FOODS store network to strengthen its delivery service.
