The Cap Seine cooperative acquires Pom'Alliance and Lunor

Cap Seine acquires the French companies number one of fresh potatoes and potatoes and vegetables cooked vacuum.
The Cap Seine cooperative, based in the Haute-Normandie department, is specialized in cereals and oilseeds. Its turnover is EUR 716 million. Wishing to diversify and be less dependent on exports of cereals, Cap Seine entered the market of potatoes and vegetables with the acquisition of Pom'Alliance, number one of fresh potatoes and Lunor, number one of potato and vegetable vacuum.
Pom'Alliance collects and sells 250,000 tonnes of potatoes each year, 40% of which are exported; the company's turnover is 100 million euros per year. Lunor is specialized in vacuum cooking of potatoes and other vegetables; its turnover is 47 million euros.
These two companies are complementary and with many synergies, according to Cap Seine. After validation of transactions, the activities of Lunor and Pom'Alliance will be gathered within a holding company called Noralliance Légumes.
