Precocious cherry: the best season for 20 years.

The prices obtained are excellent (15-20 Turkish Liras per kilo) (1 € = appr.3 TL) and fruits are exported to 15 countries including Russia in mind.

About 1,000 small producers are in the region of Manisa on some 15-20 000 decares. After a very bad season in 2013 and some 30,000 tons of cherries exported, 2014 should be a great season, because the cherries in this region have not suffered from frost and cold as in other regions and production is abundant.

In addition, producers apply good agricultural practices and provide a product free of pesticide residues.

According to the terms of the President of the Association of  Cherries Producers of Manisa, CHERRY OF MANISA is becoming a globally recognized brand. 60,000 tons of cherries should be exported this season.
