Vegetable exports up in 2004

For the first four months of the year, Argentina exported more than 250 000 tonnes of fresh vegetables, a slight increase of 0.5 percent on the same period in 2003. However, the value of these exports increased by 19 percent! Almost half of the production and the value concerned garlic and onions.
