On April 4, 2008 the European Commission issued a report on “Prospects for Agricultural Markets and Income 2007-2014”, which presents the more likely outlooks for agricultural markets and particularly focuses on oilseeds and cereals.
Even if the EU agricultural markets are likely to experience a sustainable growth during the next seven years, the report stresses that important uncertainties remains, notably concerning the use of GMO and changing climatic conditions.
