New commission to evitate tomatoes fight

The Spanish-Moroccan commission will examine tomatoes statement in those 2 countries and export trends to European Union

Spain is proposing to Morocco to set up a commission in order to discuss statement and trends on the tomatoes market.

The Spanish foreign Ministery has made such an announcement after a meeting with the Agricultural Advisors of 4 provinces , main producers of tomatoes : Andalucia, Valencia, Murcia , Canarias ... Those provinces totalising 90 % of the Spanish production volumes of tomatoes.

 

The commission has the objective to establish a permanent contact between the 2 countries to discuss market statement and to optimise trade exchanges.

 

This commission will respect all conditions of the actual agreement between Morocco and European Union.
