Supervalu in talks to buy Albertsons

US retailer Supervalu has announced that it has reopened talks to acquire supermarket chain Albertsons. Albertsons is America's second largest traditional supermarket chain, with around 2,500 stores. The deal could be worth around US$10 billion.
