Jeff Kammermeyer joins U.S. innovator in fresh produce solutions as Vice President of Commercial Operations

Apeel Sciences, an expert in supply chain innovation within the fresh produce industry, announced the appointment of Jeff Kammermeyer as Vice President of Commercial Operations. Kammermeyer, who brings over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, strategy, and operations, will be responsible for overseeing Apeel’s sales and sales operation teams.
Kammermeyer’s career includes extensive experience in global crop and animal health organizations, where he led teams in initiatives focused on product development and operational sustainability. He holds an MBA from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Southeast Missouri State University.
Before joining Apeel, Kammermeyer co-founded Altru Group, an agriculture and food consulting firm, and served as Chief Commercial Officer at Elemental Enzymes, where he led a commercial team to promote strategic partnerships and business development. His experience also includes senior positions at Elanco, managing a $100 million portfolio in the poultry sector, and at Express Scripts, overseeing HR responsibilities for 5,000 employees and 1,000 consultants across 30 locations.
