Mexico receives 73% of Peruvian garlic exported until November 2024

Despite the drop in quantity, Peruvian garlic generated more revenue than in 2023.
Peruvian exports of fresh garlic through November 2024 reached 11,695,575 kilos, generating revenues of $32,267,690, according to a Peruvian agricultural statistics outlet. Although the volume exported was lower compared to the 16,555,580 kilos recorded in the same period of 2023, the value of exports grew significantly, from $26,707,451 in 2023 to the current figure.
So far in 2024, 73% of Peruvian garlic exports were destined for Mexico. For its part, the United States received 17%, while Ecuador absorbed 4% of total exports, with the rest being distributed among other countries.
