The Cooperative Logistics Network is celebrating 10 years of connecting freight forwarders with a community of over 360 members worldwide. To mark this achievement, they’ve released a special video featuring testimonials and highlighting their journey of success and collaboration.
Founded in 2014, The Cooperative has been a vital resource for small and mid-sized logistics companies, helping them grow, increase business volume, and access global markets. Today, the network includes 363 members across 135 countries, demonstrating its commitment to fostering partnerships that unlock global opportunities.
Antonio Torres, the network’s founder, explained that trust is essential for smaller logistics companies to survive in a market dominated by large corporations. He stated that The Cooperative was created to empower reliable small businesses, enabling them to grow globally without losing their independence. He emphasized that the initiative is more than a network; it is a community built on trust and shared success.
Over the past decade, The Cooperative has evolved to meet the needs of its members. They’ve organized seven in-person Annual Meetings and two virtual events, creating valuable opportunities for collaboration and networking. The 8th Annual Meeting, set for May 2025 in Abu Dhabi, promises to be another significant milestone.
Among its innovations, The Cooperative introduced FreightViewer in 2021, a tool that simplifies generating instant freight quotes. They’ve also launched a web app for managing partnerships and built alliances with key organizations like Shipco and CIFFA to enhance members’ skills and streamline operations.
Ali Kaddour, a founding member from Sydney, noted that joining The Cooperative has been transformative for his business. He shared that the network has provided access to trusted partners and supported international expansion while strengthening local operations.
Antonio Torres expressed his gratitude to the network’s members, thanking them for their trust and collaboration over the years. He acknowledged that their contributions have been the foundation of the network’s success and expressed optimism about the future, promising to continue creating opportunities for all members.
