Exports of Peruvian aguaymanto growing

Peruvian aguaymanto shipments between January and July 2024 totaled some 262,100 tons, registering a growth of 8.9% compared to the same period last year, according to international market analyst Heber Chavez.

 

 

This fruit was exported to 19 different destinations, with the Netherlands being the main recipient with 45.9% of shipments, followed by the United States with 18.3%, while other countries accounted for the remaining 35.8%. Shipments of aguaymanto are made in different forms: fresh, dehydrated, frozen and other presentations.
