Avocado shipments to Europe rise and fall in China as volumes compare week 29 of 2023 and 2024

In week 29 of this year, Europe has received 23% more avocado shipments compared to the same week in 2023, without negatively affecting prices, according to the Avobook W29 Report.

 

On the other hand, China shows a different situation. Shipments from its main supplier, Peru, are down by more than half when comparing week 29 of 2023 with week 2024.

 

In the United States, Mexico dominates 40% of the market, followed by California with 28%, while Peru maintains a strong presence with 24%. In this market, prices have experienced a slight decline in all grades compared to the previous week.
