In 2023, Peruvian ginger exports significantly increased in volume and value if compared to 2022, reports Agrodata Perú.

 

During the past year, the country exported 73.422.167 kilos of the veg, worth $122.783.753.

 

In 2022, Peru shipped 56.317.801 kilos of ginger, for a total value of $69.712.691.

 

The main recipients in 2023 were the United States (42% of the total value), the Netherlands (33%), Canada (5%), Spain (5%), the United Kingdom (4%), and other countries.
