"Mounts of Venasque" cherry, genuine red diamond of Provence

Large size and intense brightness, Cherry of "Mounts of Venasque" is considered as the "red diamond of Provence."

Recognized as the flagship of the cherry in France, the season of the cherry "Mounts of Venasque" began in May with Burlat variety, followed by Folfer, Van, Summit, Belgian varieties, which will close the season in mid-July. The production looks excellent on all varieties and is expected to reach a total of 1,500 tons.

This exceptional cherry is produced within the framework of a very strict specifications (varieties, cultivation techniques, selections, controls each batch) which guarantees a minimum average size of 24 mm, while the standard norm is than 20mm. Always picked at full maturity, cherries have a homogeneous color and shine.

The brand "Cherise" is reserved for sizes 24/26, "Land of Cherry" for the 26/28. Also available in trays for bulk +28, and in trays +28 (270 000 units produced in 2013).
