Summer pears

The production of summer pears has been estimated at 250 000 tons this year. The Guyot and Williams varieties come in a majority from the south of France (the PACA region) and respectively represent, 70 000t and 90 000t. In the Rhône Méditérannée basin, 20% of the crop is devoted to the industry.
