Alimentaria has recorded its most international edition with a net increase in the number of visitors and foreign buyers from 5 continents.
The 2014 edition has just finished and international visitors continue to increase.
Very satisfying balance of Alimentaria 2014which has seen the number of foreign visitors increased by 2% reaching to 42,000, or 30% of the total. The trade fair attracted also over 600 foreign buyers almost +50% compared to 2012.
The main importers in Europe, Asia, Latin America and U.S. distributors participated with exhibitors over 10,000 business meetings, or +25% compared to the previous edition. Cooperation, trade agreements will be realized in the coming months.
The next edition of Alimentaria (Barcelona) will be held in March 2016; this year, Alimentaria (Mexico) trade fair will take place in June and Alimentaria (Brazil) in September.
