From HortiEgypt: HIGH SKY is exporting 500 kg of Egyptian truffles every week

Egypt is not only a citrus and fruit producer country, but also truffles. The Egyptian company HIGH SKY is specialised in this product.
Truffles are picked up in an area located north of Cairo (around 100 km north) from November to April. HIGH SKY exports 500 kg every week (half black and half white). Size of truffles is from 6 cm of diameter to 10 cm , but sometimes even bigger. The company is proud to have sold recently a white truffle with a weight of 1.5 kg. Main customers are buying from Italy but also from The American states.
