Less exported vegetables from Ireland in 2008

Since pound sterling is weak, Iris exporters sell less vegetables and potatoes from autumn 2008.
 
Totally export of vegetables and potatoes decreased 6,5%. It was hard for them to sell their products in essential British market.
 
For Irish exporters British market constituted until now 43% of the whole export of vegetables and potatoes.
 
The main reason of Ireland’s export problems was significant fall of 22% in value of British pound comparing to value of euro.
