The organization of the country's fruit producers estimates that the drop in volumes could reach 25% compared to last year.
The apricot crop is estimated to be the hardest hit, with an estimated decline of 68%. The harvest of peaches is expected to fall by 65%. The apple crop, the main fruit product on the Czech market, is forecast to decrease by 27% to 113 000 tonnes.
