Spar to increase presence in Spain

Spar is investing around EUR 80 million a year to develop its Spanish operations. In 2005, the total number of new stores stands at 136 and the company's sales are forecast to increase by 15 percent to EUR 1.1 billion. Spar currently has about 1400 stores in Spain.
