New initiative of sustainable development for The Greenery

This label will come to reward the producers who have an approach of sustainable development.
The Greenery launched a new initiative to recognize the producers who realize exceptional performances of durability.
Its new label "Nature Counts ", will be awarded by a jury of independent experts: the producers will be estimated on the basis of the consumption of energy and water, protection of culture, management of the waste, and the employment.
During the ceremony of launch of "Naturecounts", which gathered more than 100 professionals of the sector, the new label was awarded to A + G Van den Bosch de Bleiswijk. The jury privileged this company which is the first farm of the Netherlands to use the geothermal heat to warm greenhouses. This method allowed a reduction of 90 % of the consumption of natural gas.
The Natural jury Counts will meet twice a year to deliver the labels which will be awarded for 3 years.
