The brand "Made in Azerbaijan" will strengthen the identification of products on international markets.
With the remarkable performance of its exports (+ 41% for vegetables, + 25% for fruits) last year, the country launched the brand "Made in Azerbaijan" to strengthen the promotion of its products in new markets .
The Ministry of Economy is satisfied with the results of the development program (2014-18), which has given a positive impulse to agricultural exports. Exports have already started to China and to the Emirates which are new markets for Azerbaijan.
Exports to Russia, Germany, Turkey, Belarus, the United States have increased, as well as to other countries. Especially with hazelnuts, fruit juices, pomegranates, or other fruits and vegetables. In total, according to the ministry in 2016 exports of vegetables increased by 41% and fruit exports by 25%.
