Alimentaria 2014 shifts its dates

Alimentaria is one of the world's biggest trade fairs devoted to food.

The salon announces a change of dates for the 2014 edition to be held from March 31 to April 3 at Gran Fira de Barcelona. A week later than initially planned, in order not to coincide with Prowein in Düsseldorf, a direct competitor of Intervin, one of the fairs Alimentaria.

The latest edition of Alimentaria totaled an exhibition area of 94,743 m2, counting 3851 exhibitors from 60 countries and welcoming 141,826 visitors.
