Iran wants to replace Europe on the Russian market

The Iran Commercial organisation has announced its willingness to increase food exports (fruits & vegetables, fish, poultry) towards Russia. 

Russian sanctions towards European products will give an opportunity to Iranian products on the Russian market.

Iran Chamber of Commerce put into place a working group aimed to find new markets in Russia. Numerous sectoral opperators also agreed to attend the next WorldFood Moscow (15-18 September) in order to have a better understanding of the need and to establish contacts.

Iran can produce a large number of different fruits and vegetables, and citrus, fruits that no central Asian country can produce.
