5th European Meeting of the Chestnut

The organization of the 5th EUROPEAN MEETING OF THE CHESTNUT is performed by the Mesa del Castaño el Bierzo and AREFLH (Assembly of european regions Fruitières Vegetable Growing and Horticultural).

The organizers objective is the promotion and revitalization of the sector of chestnut; taking into account the importance of this species in the context of Europe; collaboration between production areas; the sector defense and the establishment of common strategies.

The event will include presentations with technical visits to facilitate meetings between producers, trading companies and processing industry. These meetings are open to owners, students, producers, technicians, sales, and anyone in the industry.

Registration using the online form www.chestnut-meetings.org (English, Italian, Spanish, French). The fee of participation is 65 euros, it includes conferences, technical tours, lunch and dinner gala (Thursday 12/06), coffee breaks, documents.
