Every TarpLessⓇSX ripening room has innovative control technology Fruit-centric Ripening™. It uses data that is sent to the intelligent SX control system directly from the fruit. Using this information, the device can generate and maintain the perfect temperature, humidity and airflow balance to maintain uniform pulp temperatures while maximizing control and efficiency throughout each step of the ripening process.
Thermal Tech has a TarpLessⓇSX for all commercial ripening needs. Rooms can be installed for bananas, avocados, pears, stone fruits, and even multi-fruit rooms with combined ripening, pre-cooling, and low-temp storage. Single or multiple temperature control zones allow fruit to mature simultaneously with the same unbeatable performance and guaranteed uniformity at different stages in the same space.
Each TarpLessⓇSX ripening room is also equipped with the exclusive humidification system of Thermal Tech, which preserves and retains naturally occurring levels of moisture found in the fruit throughout the process of ripening. Such naturally occurring moisture evaporates gradually during ripening in rooms lacking proper humidification, increasing peel resistance, reducing fruit weight and shortening shelf life.
Through preserving maximum levels of moisture during ripening, TarpLessⓇSX minimizes weight loss, offering up to 1/2 pound more weight per box, thus extending shelf life up to 12 hours, reducing retail shrinkage. Fruit looks better, lasts longer and weighs more.
