Prices for sweet apples keep steady in Ukraine

According to the latest data, demand for local sweet apples is reported to be quite low in Ukraine at the moment. This factor has stabilized prices for apples within domestic fruit market of Ukraine, as a result prices remain on the same level starting from early November 2013. Current prices for apples verify from 2,2 to 5,7 UAHkg. By comparison, last November prices for apples comprise 3,6 – 6,7 UAHkg.  Producers without long termed fruits storage possibilities are ready to decrease current prices. At the same time warehouses owners prefer to hold back the sales waiting for better prices.
