Fruits lead March exports in Rio Grande do Norte

In March 2025, 58.6% of exports from Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, were linked to fruit and related agricultural products, according to data from the state’s Secretariat of Economic Development (SEDEC).
Among the top exported items were fresh melons (US$6.5 million), fresh watermelons (US$3.2 million), and fresh papayas (US$2.3 million).
Five countries accounted for nearly 70% of total exports. The United States led with US$10.5 million, followed by Senegal, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Total exports reached US$39.9 million.
