The IDYL melon again rewarded by "Flavors of the Year"

Cultivated in Morocco, it is picked at maturity and arrives in early birding from the beginning of March. IDYL melon is available in all sizes, from 550 g to 1,350 kg / piece in packages of 5 and 9 to 12 kg.
IDYL, a specialist producer of the premium Charentais melon, has just received a new award for "Flavors of the Year".
The IDYL melon, the most successful melon since the creation of the "Flavors of the Year", will once again display, for 2017, the emblematic label of the rewarded products and now well known to French consumers.
The IDYL melon is of the Charentais green type, Magenta variety. In term of presentation: its embroidered dress is well cut, of regular shape. Taste side: its orange flesh is particularly fragrant, juicy and firm, with on average a Brix degree of 14.
Every year, the "Flavors of the Year" brings together a jury composed of 120 consumers who determine a level of overall satisfaction by evaluating the appearance, smell, texture and of course the taste of the candidate products. Tastings are carried out blindly in a sensory evaluation laboratory and are based on strict and rigorous methodological rules.
