Predictions for citrus fruit crop in the season 2006/07

Initial estimation made for season 2006/07 predicts crops of citrus fruit 3.967.403 tones.
Numbers show that the production of tangerines would reach the level of 1.965.779 tones, oranges 1.736.449, lemons 257.902 and grapefruits 7.273 tones.
According these data, the production of tangerines could be reduced of 6.61% comparing final crops of season 2004/05. However production of oranges increased of 12,33%.
Lemons are predicted to decrease of 15.46% comparing the final crops of season 2004/05 and the production of grapefruits has the tendency to grow dynamically to the level of 74,33% more than crops of the same year.
