Fructidor reports from Fresh Summit

Fructidor country manager Jacqueline Sanna attended the recent Fresh Summit show in Anaheim, California, organised by The Produce Marketing Association. More than 800 exhibitors from 26 countries and a record-breaking attendance of 17,300 meant another succesful year for the Fresh Summit, which was held from 15th to 19th October in Anaheim, California. Many interesting forums were held during the event. For example, on Saturday, the morning was devoted to growers and shippers of fresh produce, followed by an open session in the afternoon on the general state of the industry. It is worth highlighting that many visitors from South America attended the event, looking to do export business to the United States. The next edition of Fresh Summit will take place from 4th to 8th November 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia.
