Production in the Mendoza region is up for the 2012-2013 season.
The annual survey by the Instituto de Desarrollo Rural plans to produce 667,946 tons of fruit and vegetables in the region, the highest production for ten
years.
The harvests of plums are estimated at 211,103 tons, four times the output of the season. Peach harvests expected to reach 100 703 tons.
