Peru expands fruit and agro shipments to Mexico by 25%

Grapes and paprika emerge as the top earners in early 2025.
In the first half of 2025, Peru’s exports to Mexico reached $473 million, according to the Exporters Association (ADEX).
Within this figure, non-traditional exports accounted for $438.7 million, showing a 25% increase compared to the same period in 2024. This sector represented nearly 93% of Peru’s total shipments to Mexico.
The agro-industry was the top contributor, generating $220 million — equal to 47% of all non-traditional exports. The main driver was grapes, with sales of $66 million, followed by paprika at $33 million, and other products.
