The Cyprus pavilion
Cyprus, island of production and export, was represented at the Moscow’s show by a dozen or so companies. Their main production is citrus fruits, for about 55.000 tons, with 70% of the production exported to Europe and the rest toward the Eastern Europe countries.
Potatoes, with 2 crops a year, are exported every day in more than 25 countries all over the world.
10 tons of aromatic herbs are exported every day also, in more than 25 countries throughout the world.
Cyprus produces every kind of Mediterranean products such as grapes, watermelons, melons, ... and vegetables.
