Peru ships $745.6 million in grapes in January-August

Lower prices offset a modest increase in Peru’s grape export volumes.
Peru’s grape exports reached US$745.56 million between January and August 2026, virtually unchanged from US$745.62 million in the same period of 2025, according to Agrodata.
Export volume increased 1.7% to 263,328 tonnes, while the average price slipped from about US$2.88/kg to US$2.83/kg.
The year started strongly, with January exports reaching US$471.16 million. August shipments stood at US$11.29 million and 4,008 tonnes, compared with US$12.31 million and 4,296 tonnes a year earlier.
The United States remained the leading destination, receiving US$388.74 million worth of Peruvian grapes. Mexico followed with US$94.39 million and the Netherlands with US$66.50 million.
