Sainsbury names new Chairman

UK grocery retailer Sainsbury has announced that Philip Hampton is to take over as the company's new Chairman.
This comes after Sir Peter Davis stepped down as Chairman.
Philip Hampton has a strong financial background, having been the finance director of Lloyds TSB, BT, British Gas and British Steel.
