Disappearance of the third party of farms in 15 years

The Swiss farmers lost the third party of their workforce in 15 years, according to figures published on August 17th by the federal office of statistics. Especially the small farmers, while managing a surface lower than 20 hectares, which disappeared.
15 years ago, switzerland counted 92815 farms. Today, there are only 63627, 31 % less.
