Drop in grape crop estimates

A humid and rainy climate around flowering and fruit set seems to raise questions about the promising estimates made by table grape growers in South Africa. Crop losses are estimated at 10 to 15% in the Bergriver area, on later varieties. On a total crop of 13 millions cartons, a loss of 1 to 1,5 millions is expected.
