Fruitière Company plans to develop its production

Increase of production in Côte d'Ivoire for Fruitière Company.

The President of the Fuitière Company  Robert Fabre, said during a hearing with the Ivorian Head of State:. "Currently in Ivory Coast, we are the largest producer of bananas and pineapples. And we intend to develop this tonnage to bring 500 000 tonnes for coming years . "

Production development  but also a "refrigerated corridor" project whose implementation would support the development in the north of the country and inter-regional exchanges.

Fruitière Company cultivates bananas, pineapples and papayas on twenty sites covering a total of approximately 3600 hectares. The CBS (Société de Culture Bananière) joined the Fruitière Company Group  in 1997. Major economic player in the Ivory Coast, CBS employs over 6500 people.
