Pineapple shipments from Peru increase year on year

Peru recorded a strong increase in pineapple exports in 2025, supported by higher shipment volumes.
According to Agrodata, export value reached US$16.9 million FOB, up from US$9.15 million in 2024. Volumes rose to 1.62 million kilos, compared with 787,759 kilos the previous year. Average export prices eased slightly to US$10.42 per kilo, down from US$11.62 per kilo in 2024.
The United States remained the main destination for Peruvian pineapple exports in 2025, accounting for the majority of shipments. Canada and Mexico followed, while smaller volumes were sent to Panama and other markets,
