Thailand advances its export strategy in China through a focused digital promotion.
Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), under the Ministry of Commerce, has completed its TOPTHAI online promotion on Tmall, one of China’s leading e-commerce platforms, as part of efforts to boost Thai exports ahead of the Chinese New Year.
The campaign, which ran from 15 to 25 January 2026, showcased Thai products certified under Thai SELECT, Thailand Trust Mart (TTM) and the Prime Minister’s Export Award (PM Awards). It focused on increasing product visibility and consumer access in the Chinese market through cooperation with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
DITP said the initiative forms part of its broader digital trade strategy. Over the past five years, TOPTHAI has supported more than 2,400 Thai brands by working with major e-commerce platforms across nine international markets, generating total sales value of over 800 million baht (approx. US$23 million).
TOPTHAI operates as DITP’s official online channel on global e-commerce platforms, giving Thai companies direct access to overseas consumers across food, health and beauty, home décor, fashion and lifestyle categories.
