Uruguayan market opens for Peruvian peppers

The Republic of Uruguay gave the green light to shipments of Peruvian peppers of the Capiscum variety, reports the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation of Peru (MIDAGRI).
From the ministry they also pointed out that Peru offers more than 350 varieties of chillies, hot peppers and peppers. The most popular varieties are the yellow pepper, slime, panca, charapita, mountain and rocoto.
Approximately 11,000 Peruvian producers are dedicated to the cultivation of these species.
