Delegation of members of the Brazil-Catalonia Chamber of Commerce visits headquarters of important business group

A delegation from the CCBC (the Brazil-Catalonia Chamber of Commerce) recently visited the CMR GROUP headquarters to learn about the modern storage, packaging, management and distribution processes implemented at the Group's headquarters in Barcelona.

At the beginning of May, the members of the Catalonia-Brazil Chamber learned first-hand about the internal procedures of CMR GROUP, among which its intelligent building management system stands out, which allows it to effectively control the processes of merchandise management and self-sufficiency of much of the energy used in their daily processes.

During the visit, the delegation learned about the operation of various company departments, from the reception of merchandise from its network of senders spread throughout the globe, to its marketing through its distribution and export departments and its own 17 points of sale in Mercabarna.

​​Among its different companies, CMR GROUP has a productive subsidiary in Brazil where it grows fruit and vegetables on 2.000 hectares under its COSARICA brand, which operates in Europe, is part of the CCBC, whose purpose is to promote and facilitate economic, commercial, political and cultural relations between Brazil and Catalonia since 2011.
