Preparations for Interpoma 2008 in full swing
Italy
Friday 13 June 2008
From 6 to 8 November the halls of the Fiera Bolzano exhibition centre will open their doors to the sixth edition of Interpoma, the biennial international trade fair which focuses exclusively on the growing, storage and marketing of apples. The event represents the ideal forum for discovering the latest trends, getting informed about new offers and products, doing business deals and meeting the world's top apple industry experts.
The trade fair’s supporting programme includes the now traditional international conference "The Apple in the World", whose organiser Kurt Werth is a leading authority in the apple sector. The conference will cover a number of topical issues including "Harmonization and new pesticide residue regulations", "Trends in organic apple production and marketing" and "Restrictions and barriers in the world apple market". With wide-ranging topics and globally renowned speakers, the conference is one of the main tools with which Interpoma aims to expand its international audience.
