Creation of an association of valorisation of the cherries

Tony Bongiovanni, Fructidor's country manager for France, reports that in Mazan, Vaucluse - place of cherries from the Coteaux du Ventoux - it has been created an association of valorisation of cherries. This one aims at obtaining standard "IGP". This standard includes 20 varieties and has a very strict schedule of conditions including harvesting at optimal maturity and fruit selection according to grade.
